JYIS School has both British and Pakistani curriculum of which learners choose to be placed in one of them:
(a.) British Program:
JYIS follows Cambridge Upper Secondary Program which offers learners: Cambridge IGCSE/A Level in Grades 9-12 Which provides students with a broad and balanced study across a wide range of subjects using learner-centered and enquiry- based approaches. JYIS students take internationally recognized Cambridge IGCSE and A Level qualification at the end of the Upper Secondary Stage. JYIS offers a comprehensive range of subjects such as: English as a First Language, English as a Second Language, Arabic as a First Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Business Studies, Accounting and ICT. Cambridge standards and qualifications are globally recognized by universities which allows JYIS students to be confident that their qualification will be valued throughout their education in their home countries and internationally.
(b.) Pakistani Program (FBISE):
JYIS follows Federal Board Upper Secondary Program
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), an autonomous body of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan has been entrusted a spectrum of responsibilities, including curricula recommendation, appointment of examiners and supervisory staff to conduct examinations, ensuring required physical and human resource of all affiliated institutions imparting secondary and higher secondary levels within and across the country to match the in-house talent with needs of the market.
We are committed to provide conducive learning environment, transparent, efficient and objective assessment opportunities to our students during their academic pursuit in its affiliated institutions. Complete automation of the whole system to promote trouble-free interaction – acquisition of required documents, prompt dissemination of information to thousands of affiliated institutions and millions of students, well defined mapping and monitoring system using advance technological tools like GIS and remote sensing, establishment of Quality Enhancement Cell to improve the standards of examination through students feedback, creation of pool of qualified paper setters, examiners and assessor augmented with specialized trainings are the immediate priorities. This multi-dimensional approach of FBISE as a way forward to beatify all its stakeholders require teamwork and well wishes to track this mission.
